I want to set up my forum search "exactly" like the one here... I have searched quite a bit it seems to be one of smf best kept secret.

I have a google account and they have index my site a little(very little), however I don't care if they haven't I still want it...lol  So please don't shoot down my post for this reason.

I found this and [Unknown] hints around to how it was done, but he doesn't really lay it out for us n00bs.... Would anyone like to? Thanks

Don't take it personally, I just wanted to put a subject that would get members to check it out.

I can set up a google search box, who couldn't... They even give us these real pretty ones with our own id#, custom colors and all....lol But as far as making one that interacts with the search.php/redirects to google... Sorry, but that part of it remains unanswered.....IMHO

I really didn't want to get in a whole back in forth thing, I mean we can, but thats not real productive... I just wanted some help in a support forum......
