Question on PayPal?

I help moderate a SMF 1.0.6 Forum and was wondering what coding I'd need to add to enable a PayPal Donate button to be added to the forum's index page?

I realise there is a topic on this originating from the Mods Download page but there only seems to be help for 1.1 RC2. Would the recommendation be to upgrade to RC2 and then install the mod?

All help will be greatly appreciated.

ive already asked this question in the mod request,as the current version of the mod does not work with SMF 1.0.6 which im also running,ive had a reply from who i think is the coder who made the original mod and he replied saying he will look into this for me you can find the thread http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=72260.0 hope this helps
