Yes I have an idea  ;D

How about adding a proxy configuration?  It doesn't seem to work for me from my work which uses a proxy for web access.

NOD32 says it's a virus, it's a false positive for sure, but i can't use it :(

I know this problem... There's something wrong with NOD32 lately regarding simplewn setup file.
Another person reported this issues on my forum. ( http://www.currentchaos.com/forum/index.php/topic,1620.0.html ).

Try disabling the anti-virus while you install the application and than enable it again. That should do it.

P.S.: What's strange, is the fact that I've just downloaded a trial version of NOD32 scanned the file and nothing... So you may consider updating your antivirus version and or your database of virus signatures.

i'm using NOD32 with the latest updates it also says that it is virus. I have admin version of NOD32. maybe the difference with your nod32 is that.

Remaker

Yes, probably...
I'm trying to contact nod32 somehow and let them know about this issue, maybe they will correct it.

Anyway, if you have nod32 , I think there is an feature that let's you report a file for analysis.. So, could you do that for me, because I do not have access to a licensed version of nod32.
Thanks.

I've just received an answer from Eset Tech support(Nod32), and it seems the problem is now fixed, and after their next signature database simplewn should not be flaged as a virus anymore.
