Auto Save Feature

I dint know if this is possible, but they have something like it in my Gmail ... where every few lines or every so often it will autosave my message so that if i close it by accident it will still be there, perhaps a link in my profile somewhere, so that when i go back, i can click on the link, and continue from the last save point, and it would then give me the option to post it to whatever thread or forum i had originally intended to post it. like have it save the text and the name of the thread it was gonna post to .... if not on the server at least in a temp internet file or a ... a something ... so that if we accidental mess it up somehow we don't loose the super long post with tons of quotes, pictures and web links in it that we might have (I) just wrote?
