This is another post from a german member.
If he gets a mail after registering, he has the following:

Ihr Benutzername ist:  xxx, und Ihr Passwort ist xxx

Nach dem Login können Sie es in Ihrem Profil ändern oder Sie benutzen folgende Seite: ...

Oldiesmann

Looks like it's not converting the HTML values.

The same on Javascript windows, for example if you forget the password after changing your profile.

Those are the strings that should not be entity'd. (email and javascript.)  Later I will put comments before all of them.

You don't need to. I know it - that's ok. No other language has these characters.

You mean the characters ä ö ü ? Other languages have them to. For example finnish and swedish.

There are some strings which are used in Javascript windows AND in the forum. What shall I do ? On the one hand it's not HTML (or whatever) compatible, on the other hand we'll have problems in the PopUp windows ! That's annoying.

Which strings?

If there are problems like that, the simple solution is to duplicate the string.

Then we've to double them in all language files. Hmm, ok, that was the only solution I could think of, too. Hmmm.... I'll think about it. :(
