unread messages and ?

It would be nice to have a built in link for unread messages which is different from Show unread posts since last visit. It is a very popular feature of phpbb2

also I would love to see Insert URL: http://url or URL text (alt+w)

okay an example on phpbb2 you could say, click HERE to send a user to a distination url, however I don't see that functionality in smf or I am just not getting the bb code right.
