Clean Theme Coding

All the themes I have been able to find look like spaghetti from a code viewpoint and I'm having trouble adapting that to my own needs. Are there any themes out there they has cleaned that up any?

most of Bloc's themes are pretty clean and straight forward.  I have not had any trouble modifying any of his themes...
