More than one member using same e-mail

This is a feature I would like added to the admin, I have a role playing forum and one member is allowed as many characters as they can manage.  Only thing is, I have to allow non-working e-mails to be registered in order for members to do that.  This means the regisration is open and immediate.

So far no problems, but I do foresee difficulties down the road.

rather than do that why don't you just make child boards where they can psot the stats of a particular character they want to play so they just play in character in that board?

Cuts down on the headaches that way.

The email is almost more unique than the member name. You can log in by your email for example. But its certainly not hard to get a new gmail account or something similar. Takes a few minutes.

That wouldn't work, if you were to see what is happening in the story you would see what I mean.  I have 7 or 8 characters and at first I attempted to get e-mails for each, I became frustrated with it and if I as the administrator became frustrated I am sure members would too and quit.  Then you have all those accounts to keep up with.

Coppermine Gallery has this feature and which is where I got the idea.

Maybe it can be offered as a mod, what do you think.
