phpBB 2.0.19 to SMF 1.1 RC2 or SMF 1.05 Problems!

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Well, when I try to convert phpbb 2.0.19 to SMF 1.1 RC2, I've got this error:

Code Select Expand

The installation of SMF in the path you specified is not a version this converter can deal with. If it is older than SMF 1.0, you need to upgrade first. If it is newer, you need to use a different converter.

What i wrong? What's the correct converter tha I have to use (I'm using that on the Converter page). 


And when I'm tryng to convert phpBB 2.0.19 with Categories Hierarchy Mod to SMF 1.05, I've got another error: only one of the boards was copied over and all the messasges too (but not accessable at the moment because the boards don't exist).

Anybody here, please, help me!

Use convert.php from http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=65677.0 if you want to convert to 1.1RC2 directly.

As far as categories hierarchy - do a search. I posted a tweaked version of the phpBB converter a while back that will handle that hack.

i did have the same problem before.. ive used the cenverter in the SMF main download site.. however the one that worked is over here:
