Being redirected to SMF instead of Joomla

Bridge 3.20, SMF RC2, Joomla 1.0.7

For the past couple days, when logging into Joomla from the Bridge login, I am immediately redirected to the SMF front page instead of staying at the Joomla frontpage.

Can anyone give me an idea what may have caused this to occur and what I might do to correct the problem?

Login is set to "return to Mambo homepage."  Is there something else I could try or look for?
