Joomla/smf subdomain to domain

Is it possible to run joomla on a subdomain of your main domain and run smf on your domain but have the bridge still work between them

On most servers, it should work.  I say most, because I encountered something a month ago that did not allow it.

As long as your subdomains do not act as separate domains, it should work fine.

You will need to turn on subdomain independent cookies in SMF.

Ok, that is so cool. I`ll give that a try in a bit. I will have to alter the joomla config file to I would imagine or something.

Ok I got it all figured out I think, thanks for the help Orstio. Link is in my sig if you wanna check it out. I changed from mkportal to joomla. I had to setup a redirect from domain to subdomain but it all appears to be working
