Theme help new catbg thingy

index.template.php has those catbg and catbg2 . In board index is this:

Ok, i'd like to change that class name. If i change those in both files something else, lets say just "cat", script stops work. Why? Is there something i miss?

did you specify an image for "cat"?  the only thing i can think is it calls for an image, and if there is none specified, maybe it causes an error.
