contributor graphic

I'm thinking maybe something the admin can check off in the user profile, and doing so makes a small graphic display with the posts, maybe under the karma or under the display text (under the avatar).

Is it feasable? I don't mean an automated system where you contribute and it throws you into a usergroup or auto-adds this image, but something manual that only the admin can control.

I don't see why not, it could link into a table I suppose, like how the usergroups do, but displays am image instead. Sort of like ez-supporter on ez-boards, how it displays that image on the posts.

I dug around, but most of what came up in my search was about being a contributor to the SMF boards themselves, not anything to modify the code for personal boards.

If this does exist (again, not as a usergroup) could someone point me towards it?

I'm thinking I'd like to see a feature that would have several different graphics available. Kinda like military bars.

You get one for your member status, one for the yearly club event, one for helping newbies, one because you are a verified member....kinda like merit badges.

I'm only talking about 5pxX5px images..
