Hi all,

Sorry if this is answered somewhere obvious but I have not succeeded in fixing a problem on my site.

I've got the following installed: Joomla 1.08 SMF 1.1RC2 Bridge 1.1.2. Yes, I included the snippet in the template as per the 1.1.2 readme.

All seems to be working great, except that the bridge login doesn't log the user into both joomla and smf. Joomla works well, SMF works well, Joomla login form works to log into Joomla, and the bridge login form only logs into SMF.

Many thanks for any advice -

Tobias

Hi - quick update: I just completely reinstalled the SMF bridge and verified everything is set up right. Removed all components and the login module, and reinstalled the bridge component. Same problem as before. Frustrating. Hope it's something obvious I'm missing! :-)

Cheers,

Tobias

I have the same problem

I have just moved to a new server and Installed exactly the same software as Tobias, but replaced the Database with the one from my old site which was Joomla 1.03, I have altered the template file in the readme and the file in the thread linked to above but still have the problem.

I suspect it is to do with using the Database from the older version of Joomla, is this correct, and is there anything in the tables that I need to alter ?

Did you try the hack Orstio links to? It worked for me.
