I did the Joomla upgrade from 1.07 to 1.08. I followed the instructions in the combined read me. So my set up is now Joomla 1.08, SMF 1.1RC2, Bridge 3.20. The problem I am having is that the login is logging the user into the forum, but Joomla. For example, the logged in user can post in the forum, shows in the forum who's online, but if they attempt to use a Joomla feature such submitting news, they are not seen as logged in, and can't access. All was working well until my upgrade to Joomla 1.08. Any ideas?

Thanks.

This post was meant for the related http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=63182.0 thread! I don't know why it appeared as a seperate thread. Something funny going on here today.

Yes, I made the changes to "components/com_smf/smf.php starting at line 443" just before upgrading to 1.08. I'll go back and check them again.

Sure enough, the changes didn't save when I made those revisions to smf.php via ftp. I fixed that and boom! back in business. Working fine now. Thank you.  ;)
