an idea.. joomla/smf/mailman bridge?

Hiya all,

I just came across this very interesting community builder plugin: http://www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,27/func,view/id,1736/catid,23/limit,6/limitstart,6/

I believe it effectively handles mailman list subscription/removal when a user joins/leaves a joomla site with community builder installed. This is something that would interest me, however I don't know the state of things with compatibility between the bridge and community builder. I don't have too much experience with CB just yet, but am interested to see if anyone else has gone down this path. Would it be possible to incorporate this functionality in the bridge, or to take advantage of this CB functionality while also using the bridge registration?

wait a few weeks for the new bridge to be ironed out...
it is much more friendly with CB...
