Disable images in quotes

Is there a way to Disable images in quotes, its kidna annoying when an image is posted and allot of people quote it on the same page, this causes clutter and also cuts down on load time....

I think it'd be good to see something instead of the pic itself, a little message saying "IMAGE" or something. That would cut down on clutter and it loading every time.

Try adding

.quote img
{
   display: none;
}

To your css, it will also stop smilies showing though.

Ok kool, hmmm smilies will get killed as well  o well, hello faster load times  or can you not set a size limit on the image quoted ??

Ben_S ... cant something be added to the code the replace the image with click here for image  then it points you to the image .. or can the code be writtin to allow .gif
