unistalled & tried to reinstall

SMF Version: SMF 1.0.6
Hi,

What did I do??? 

I successfully installed SMF but made a stupid mistake when working within the Admin panel, I changed the domain name to an incorrect one.  I couldn't access the admin panel again to fix the problem.  Anyway I deleted the folder on my web server, copied it back on then tried to run the install.php via my browser but for some reason can't find the page.

Does SMF write over some code that I need to reset or something?

Any help would be appreciated.
