It's hard to find the link that says "you have (insertnumberandlinkhere) messages, (insert number) are new.", so I made these two images for the two default themes in version 1.0.6.

For the SMF Default Theme:
For the Classic YaBB SE Theme:
Just save those and add them to the themes image directory then rename them privatemessages.gif (privatemessagesc.gif is for the classic theme, privatemessagesd.gif is for the default theme)
And here is the code you need to add to the index.php.template files of both themes:

// Show PM Icon
        if ($context['allow_pm'])
                                        echo '
                                <a href="' . $scripturl . '?action=pm"><img src="imageurlhere.gif" border="0" /></a> ' . $context['menu_separator'] . '';

Replace "imageurlhere.gif" with well... the images full URL. I added the code between // Edit Profile... [profile] and // The [calendar]! on my forum. I did not make a zip with the edited template files to follow the Simple Machines License. I used Photoshop, not that button generator. Tell me how you like them.

Is "reviving" old topics against the rules here? If so, sorry, I can't find a rules thread, I just want to know if anyone is using my buttons, so if you are, please feel free to post in this topic :).

I doubt reviving is against the rules and tbh you cant really stop people but alas im not using your buttons but they look good
