Uploading database - Error.

I continue to get a timeout error when uploading my yabbse/smf database. Something about 300 seconds. I have to break up the database into 8 files about 2 MB each to avoid this problem. Is it me or does MYSQL limit the amount of data you can upload at once? The database is about 18MB total.

i tried to upload an entire bible to mine once, and it couldn't handle it.  had to break it down into numerous chuncks.

I have a 36mb gzipped db and I also get timeouts and im suspecting this is the culprit why i have corrupted DB when it is about to extract.
