Installing a new theme

Hi everyone...i'm admin for this website hxxp:www.assyriancafe.com [nonactive] and i'm trying to change the theme...but i'm not sure how I can install a new theme...I know I have to go to themes and layouts but when I download it how do I zip it because I tried to zip it and I got a text file...any help? thank you

Hey there,

To install a theme -

1.  Go to your admin panel.
2.  Click on "Themes and Layout"
3.  Scroll down to the subheading "Install a new theme"
4.  Click on the "Browse" button, and locate the theme on your local computer.
5.  Hit "Submit" and wait a few seconds for the Theme to upload.
6.  You should receive a message telling you that the theme has been sucessfully installed.
7.  Above the message click on "Manage and Install"
8.  Select the theme from the dropdown box, and you will be able to see the theme in action.

Make sure the theme you want is compatible with your version of SMF.
