Beautiful theme. Especially the buttons are awesome!

P.S. How would you feel about replacing my aqua on/off gifs by something in the same metallic style as the other theme graphics are? For example those (or something similar to those) which are attached to this post?

Looks real good! Guestion, is that themes lang files somehow differend? Or why there are lang folder in that package etc? There are also every template file, did you change those all? Because if you changed example only index.template.php, then that is only file what should be in that theme folder. SMF get rest in default folder, so you dont need copy every file in there ;) Thats the beauty of the theme system ;D No need to put that much stuff in theme folders.

So...I tried to install this theme, but I just end up with a blank theme or something. Then when I try to go and edit the index template it says that it can't find the file! I also can't find the files that are supposed to be installed...I think I'm going to install this one manually? Why won't it let me install it correctly? :P

edit: ok, it works with the theme installed manually....very wierd, eh?

Thanks for the tip Owdy
I've done some changes in some templates as well as the style sheets but not in langs files .. that was done quick as I said. Just want to share what I have done with others. well .. I was lazy to check which ones had changed so I've packed everything  :P

Why not use the method I described earlier! .. as I said I have not installed the theme on a working SMF .. I was only following [unknown] guide-lines in preparing a theme package .. I thought tar-ing the theme will do the trick of installing it.

I have installed the theme. I works fine.

This might be a bug. I tried to install a theme on someone's board from a zip file on my computer, and it just created the database information for that theme, and didn't create any of the directories or files. I had to use Net2FTP's "upload and unzip" feature to install the theme.

It doesn't unzip zip files, sorry.  Too proprietary.

I've had a problem getting it to accept a theme directory that's been uploaded too. I had to create a new theme, and then point that theme's paths to the path of the theme I wanted to use. ???

So what's the "install theme from a file" feature for?

It does gzip'd files.... tar.gz.

Ah. Thanks for that useful info. Fortunately, WinZIP supports that format.

Ok... tried installing it from the tar.gz file and it did the same thing - created the appropriate database info but didn't create the directory. I think that's definitely a bug. Everything is chmodded to 777.

I didn't say it just extracts a tar.gz there, rather it needs:
  - a theme_info.xml file.
  - zlib support.

If it did the database stuff, but not the files, then one of those wasn't there.

And I know it works, because I've used it.  Does it actually say "Installed Sucessfully"?

Yes it does say "installed successfully".

I ended up installing this theme the hard way again - splitting it into 3 zip files (main files, languages and images) and uploading/unzippng them one archive at a time with net2FTP, then installed the theme from the admin center.

EDIT: Ok. Found the problem. The $txt['theme_current_settings'] line was missing in Admin.english.php for that theme.

I know I've got the zlib thingy because I was able to successfully unpackage a bunch of avatars that I got from your "test" package server [Unknown]. As for the theme_info.xml file... that's included in the package... My problem is it isn't creating the directory or un-archiving the archive.

PS - Sweet theme! :)

One last thing... If you're using this theme on a Beta 4.1 board, you'll have to add some more language strings to Profile.english.php because there are some new ones that aren't in Beta 4.0...
