Update with bridged site: Special Caution Needed?

SMF Version: SMF 1.0.6
I have Coppermine (1.4.4) bridged to SMF.

Do I need to take any special cautions updating to new versions of SMF?

Am looking to use the Package Manager to update from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7.

I have backed up the db (used PHPmyAdmin since it gives me all records whereas SMF backup gives only SMF records) and all text files.
