PMs showing as minus

I tried doing a search but was told it had been disabled so guess I have to just ask again. I'm getting a few complaints from users because their PMs are showing as minus so either -1 or -2 instead of 0 or the actual number they have. Any ideas how I can fix this ?

Have you tried Admin -> Forum Maintenance -> Recount all forumtotals and statistics and Find and Repair any errors?
