Another Newbie using TinyPortal format needing advice

Hi guys.
Any help would be gratefully recieved here.
Ive recently downloaded tinyportal to use with my smf forum.
but as im new to all this im having a bit of trouble trying to get the look im after.

Im after a setup similar to this arrangements with the blocks hxxp:www.misfitmafia.com/smf/index.php [nonactive]

So any help would be great.
