instant messaging

I noticed yesterday in my package manager that there was something there for instant messaging.  When I went back later to look at it, it was gone.  Was it deleted because  something was wrong with it or do the packages rotate in there?

The packages rotate in the package manager if you are talking about the little white space with a couple mod names in it. It should be available on the mods page though if it was not taken down.

Is there any reason it would have been taken down?  Do anyone use instant messaging on their forum?  The good and bad.

There are chat modules like irc that can be fully integrated with smf.
