question:
I tried to edit my META tags to get maximum particapation from our friendly crawlers/spiders, and when I did, the board would not display at all..  it gave me an error saying that it could not load. 

Can these tags in the index.template.php be edited?  The one I tried was the description.

   <meta name="description" content="', $context['page_title'], '" />
   <meta name="keywords" content="PHP, MySQL, bulletin, board, free, open, source, smf, simple, machines, forum" />

Can you post what you're trying to change them to?
