Hey guys. I'm trying to get the 1.1.7 bridge to work, but have gotten stuck.

I read in the readme that i must add the SMF user to the Joomla database, and vice versa. However, this is that part that I can't do, since my hosting provider doesn't use cPanel. Can you guys help me out with adding these users to the databse without using cPanel? I would do it myself, but I have no idea where to start. There is a phpMyAdmin sort of thing which is available for each SQL database - will that help? Maybe there is some code that I could query the database with?

Anyway, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
- Tim.

If you do not have Cpanel, or some other system which allows you to set database user permissions, then you will have to have SMF and joomla installed in the smae database.

Right, ok. I think it will just be easier to do that then. Thanks for your time. :)
