I have been wondering around here for awhile, and I finally had to make my first post as a comment for this theme.  It is very nice!  The colors are non threatening.  I am uploading this as we speak and seeing if it will fit into my site's over-all look.

the skin is crazy nice but its really buggy.  i cant see some text on the admin cp.

and i get this messgae whne trying to view a forum topic post- "/home/ssmunchc/public_html/gamebarrack/board/Sources/Load.php(1040) : eval()'d code on line 238"

I've applied it to my test board and I've no errors whatsoever, check your mods and any custom overrides you've set.

After many trials, moving from one CMS to another, MODx has been a great CMS if you need to customize most of the components for your site.  It is definitely a CMS for developers.  The theming system is also one of the best I have seen (I dunno how creditable that is ).  I dunno if I would suggest it though unless you are comfortable with a little PHP and basic web design.  But never the less, give it a try and see if it suites your needs.  If you would like a CMS with more themes and add-ons than you could possibly handle and don't need to customize every aspect yourself, check out Joomla!

I installed two other themes last night and they turned out as pictured, so I'm wondering is the zip link is wrong, or if I needed to make some adjustment.

The  archive is fine except it contains the thumbs.db (take alot of uneeded space up)

however you need to update the languages/Settings.english.php it currently reads

Ah, now I see. It sets up on the forum fine, but in the Admin Themes Section it pictures the SMF Blue Default Theme, but I'm still not sure exactly what I need to put in the language update to correct it.

I also have problems to load the skin. It shows me the default template.

I change the php file but nothing happens. Its the same default theme. English is not my language so maybe I read something wrong.

Any other advice for this newbie?
