recentTopics modification

Could someone please adapt the recentTopics function to do the following....

Have a table with the latest topics from 4 forums. Unlike recentTopics it only needs to display the topic titles (with links).

Example:

4 of the latest topics from forum 1

4 of the latest topics from forum 2

4 of the latest topics from forum 3

4 of the latest topics from forum 4

Can't you just set up each column taking from different Topics or Boards?
