Themes/graphics and smileys

As an old codger I have installed the latest forum software. I get no smilies or graphics I have checked all files and erased and reinstalled 4 times with the same result

run the file then don't forget to delete that file once you are done.

That won't work, check the files locations

This tells me you aren't letting me see that folder or any images in it. So its needs its permissions set to something more open, Try 777 using chmod.

A simpler way if you dont understand chmod might be to upload http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=28393.0 fix_ownerships.php and open that and it may do it for you.
