Bravo for the new release of Bridge 1.1.3 It's much appreciated.
Currently, I'm using:-

  • Joomla 1.0.8
  • SMF 1.1 RC2
  • Bridge 1.1.3
But still, I have two problems that winding inside my brain. Tried to search the whole topic, but didn't find any.

Problems:-
1.) User Menu Dissapear.
I've read and tried the solution as describe here--> http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=25718.msg504382#msg504382
But nothing happen  ???

2.) SMF Bridge - Configuration
Under the Groups tab, this is the error message I get--> Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/arejea/public_html/administrator/components/com_smf/admin.smf.php on line 297

Please help

What do you mean it disappears?  Can you describe the problem better?  Do you have a URL?

Does your Joomla database user have access to your SMF database?  Does your SMF database user have access to your Joomla database?

1.) My problem is, when I used Joomla! as it is, I can set the User Menu Module in Joomla! appear when a user/member login into the portal. But when I'm using the Bridge, once user is login, the User Menu didn't appear.

2.) For my 2nd question, I'm also not sure what makes the error msg appear. But that doesn't matter (I guess) as long as the registration and login system can works  ;D I'll just ignore the error msg.

My thought is that it might have the same cause as your first problem.

Do you have a URL?

The URL--> http://www.arejea.com [nofollow]

Can someone help me in configuring this thing so that it can both (SMF & Joomla! database) integrate each other?

I just tried registering on your site.

I believe your SMF database user does not have access to your Joomla database.

The instructions to grant permissions to your database users is in the readme.html provided with the bridge, and also in this post in the FAQ:

Phewww! I finally discovered how to grant access.. and now the User menu in Joomla has appear back again once registered user login. Thanks for the URL Orstio  :P
