Firefox extension related to SMF

To my knowledge there's no Firefox extension related to SMF.
Well I'd like to contribute in community by this way, helping building one,
in the beginning to open in Tabs the Recent posts
and afterwards whatever more users like.

In such a case I would need your help, providing me the right links,
that I will use in the extension.

How is the idea sound?

You mean an SMF search engine? Well this is not an extension.

I don't like greasemonkey, I'm not fan of altering webpages in a different way than the author's like.

But with the experience gained by developing my own extension I think I'm capable of building (with more or less effort) anything you like.

Well, using the Firefox extension searching for "What is repair_settings.php?" there is this error:

Due to high stress on the server, the search function has been automatically and temporarily disabled. Please try again in a short while.

But to be honest using yesterday and searching the same term it told me that my query was not specific enough!
