The legend can easily be removed with the template system.

I was hoping NOT to get a whole new query PER topic.  At least just one extra query... I'm playing with how to do this.

The latter one would be absolutely perfect. Don't take up much space and it's easy to understand. The transparent wouldn't work in all the browsers. And who can make a copyright of a + sign?

Or you could change the color of it...
Sigh...

i think we should stick with the thread icon.. here's my first set..

Well, this set is not going to be used for the current SMF theme, it's just to show the different types of thread icons that may be needed. Other than that, this set is just for my own theme i'm going to create when SMF is released.

So in fact, for me, it IS final  ;)

You forgot "Stciky Poll"...

Yes, and "sticky very hot locked poll with participation", and "sticky hot locked poll with participation"and so on...  ;D

If I made all possible combinations, there would be 30 icons... that's a little bit too much, don't you think?  ;)

But if "sticky poll is realy nessescary, i'll make them too tonight  ;)

[Unknown]

Well, I added that $threadclass... I think it's the only new one you don't have on there...

I don't see the sense in showing participation once a thread is locked.

I often like to know if I posted in a thread that was locked.  If it was locked since I last saw it, if I posted in it normally I will go read and see why.  If I hadn't I won't.
This space for rent.

so, why not place an icon in front of the subject line if it applies?
That's the best option. I don't want to search these icons for another symbol that indicates my posts ::)...

I think Sep|roth is right...

And another reason why i think his idea is good: the Threadicon normally shows the status of the thread... locked/hot/sticky/poll .... if someone has participated in this thread is in my opinion a different kind of information.... so i think its a good idea to put the icon in front of the subject...

This can easily be done with the template system.  (man, I should like copy and paste that, shouldn't I?)

No, it would be nice if the "Team" knows a little bit more about the features of SMF or the possibilities. I didn't read anything about it.

I won't ask someone 84 times a day if SMF supports this and that ::).

Actually, stuff like this is clearly posted.
