BTW i want this for smf 1.0.7 :D
I been trying to download Mods, and themes for my site... its quite a task
Trying to get moded feilds ( for skype, xfire, gmail, attachments, bbc codes, report to moderator go to special forum, etc )
Get more then one theme for my users to choose

Have possibly 3 ( more the marrier) Different mod packs:
For surely working
Beta and working
Beta only

Have 2 different types, one you just put it in as a mod, it does it ALL at once, or it has seperate ones with descriptive file names.

Same with themes...

Could have couple sections of packs, one for s.m.f 1.0.7 and another for rc2

cheers :D

I can't agree with this. Mods are way too varied and individual forums are way too varied for their to be a need for a package of any specific mods.

Don't get me wrong, there are mods that I really like and wish were a part of the software, as features, or would like to see packaged together. But, that may just be me, I can't say how many other forums would do with those mods all in one package.

What I would really like to see is some of the most popular mods be developed, maintained, etc. officially by SMF.

ya, that too :D like have in actual smf, more attachment mods and feild mods like gmail and skype and xfire, then id be satisfied... I would still have to get some other mods sperately, but on most part, it would be done

I don't agree. I don't want many of the mods. Many of the mods uses database queries that slow down the forum. Many mods aren't used by many people. (I and my users will never need skype mod for example)

There is no mod that works "for sure". They are all in development.

How will you be able to update a single mod when they are packaged together?
If there is a failure in a file when you are installing that huge package, how can you detect the problem?

If I could vote more that once, I would vote for "No".

There should be only one "all mods" package here, named SMF_1.0.7_install.tar.gz
