Fixing corrupted Forum

My web site experienced a security breach and several php files were affected. I deleted them and replaced them with back up ones. The affected Forum file was index.php, but now when I try to access the forum, I get a server error that says "Premature end of script headers:"

What do I do?

I was on version 1.0.7 and index.php had to be replaced. When I realized that I replaced it with the index.php from version 1.0.5, I replaced all the remaining files. No sure if that was the best thing to do, but nothing was working anyway. Still getting the same error message. The forum was originally installed on my web site via Fantastico.

I managed to fix the problem, though maybe not in the most elegant way. I installed a totally new forum and then pointed in to the original mySQL database. Voila, a working forum! Not sure though why I couldn't get the old one working again.
