Hi

I found one of my user login issues in joomla...
The bridge does not sync correctly membergroups

I have some additional groups, those are also set all to Registered in bridge config
but when sync report looks like that

User: Balou Group: 18
User: chAoS Group: 18
User: RedFox Group:
User: SillElMot Group:
User: Bahamut Group: 18
User: AnAconDaZzz Group:
User: Cyberwolf Group: 18
User: Bobenfred Group: 18

you see..some dont get a group...and all those users get a cookie setting issue message, after bridge login(forum works, joomla not)

Hi,

i have the same problem. After the user migration from SMF are all users in Joomla group "Registered" (in DB table: jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map = group_id 18 or 25). After Login with the mod_smf_login the users can't access joomla modules with access level Registered (example: usermenue). Users in group "Super Administrator" can't access the Admin backend.

Be very careful with the Group Synch button.  If you do not have your Group Synch options saved correctly, you can erase admin status from all Joomla administration.  Do not click the Group Synch button without first making absolutely sure your settings in the Group Synch tab are correct, and you will have at least one Super Admin after synching.

Hello,

i think i have the the Group Synch tab with correct settings and save it:

SMF Group           Mambo Group
Administrator        Super Administrator
Global Moderator   Registered
Moderator            Registered
.
.
.

After migration the joomla User Manager are displayed the user with the corresponded group correct. But the users can't see joomla components for registered users. Evrithing is wrong. How can i fix it?

Thanks Benno

1- are users using the mod_smf_login module to login?
2- Do you have local cookies turned on in SMF? (if so, turn it off)
3- do you have database driven sessions turned on in SMF? (if not, turn it on)

Hi,
thanks for the answer.

1 - user using the mod_smf_login_module (ok)
2 - local cookies turned off (ok)

3 - where in SMF admin i can turn it on database driven sessions? I have  only a persistent connection check box (switched off)
