How to Create a new avatar Pakage?

I was wondering if anyone had a turorial on creating a new package for avatars.
I downloaded one and tried to modify the "Package-info" with my image info, but it didnt work. I get errors when I try to install it after it is uploaded. What am I missing?

Can't you just add more avatars by making a new directory and ftp'ing the images to that directory?  That's all I did.  I'm using 1.1RC2.

yeh you can, using your ftp in the avatar directory create a new file and upload the images into that, go to yoiur profile and they will be there
