Problems with avatars

No one on my forum can seem to choose an avatar. They go to the Forum Profile Settings section of their profile and they click on a category but the second menu doesn't appear (the one with the contents of the category/DIR selected). I've upgraded to 4.1 Public, I've even run the upgrade script a second time, and I still have this problem.

Have you copied the script.js from the default theme over to your current theme?

I had, yes. But I uploaded it again and that seems to fix it. Thanks
