Disable SMF Login

Is there a way/hack to completely disable the Login/Register on the SMF Frontpage and maybe replace it with a message to use the joomla login module?

I use the AccountExpirationControl hack to accomplish paid subscriptions, and this relies havily upon the joomla Login Module. I use Joomla 1.0.8, SMF 1.1.0 RC2 and the joomlahacks bridge.

Maybe just point me to the place where SMF saves the "Registration is disabled" Text, so I can replace it with "please register using the module on the left"

Ok, my bad, found the language files in the default folder... Still an interesting question about the login I think...
