Strange behavior with Netscape 7.0?

SMF Version: SMF 1.0.7
When I view just about any SMF forum (this one, for example) in Netscape 7.0, messages either display about three lines with a scroll bar at the right, or display only one line without a scroll bar.

Even short messages (say, 5 lines) have the scroll bar, and they have to be scrolled to be read. If there's no scroll bar, the messages are truncated to a single line. The only way I've found to read a truncated message is to compose a reply, with the original message quoted. Then all of it shows up.

When I look at the same SMF forum in Firefox 1.0.7 or Opera 8.5, I don't see any scroll bars, just the complete messages. None are obviously truncated, either.
