Recover Removed Threads?

Yesterday, while performing a bit of manual maintainence, aka mass htread removals, I accidently wiped out a thread which I did not mean to. something my users post in frequently. is there a method of recovering this thread and associated posts, or am I hosed and in need of starting that thread from scratch?

Not unless you:
1) have a backup
or
2) have a recycling bin

no recycling bin on the site. ~shrugs~
last backup was about a week ago, so that's out, too.

you could restore just the thread out of the backup, by using something like WHERE ID_TOPIC = topicid
