SMF Version: Version not known
I am getting an error regarding the hxxp:session.save [nonactive] path during setup. I have checked my PHP.INI file, and the path is set, in fact, when I try to access the install.php page, I notice a session file gets created in the directory I have set, yet it still gives me the error. Any suggestions? I am running Windows 2003 Server, Web Edition, not sure what version of PHP I am using....
Thanks in advance for any help!

Are you using PHP 4.3.2 or 4.4.2 (which is the latest 4.x version)?

From the PHP manual (http://www.php.net/ref.session#ini.session.save-path):
LainaaNote:  Prior to PHP 4.3.6, Windows users had to change this variable in order to use PHP's session functions. A valid path must be specified, e.g.: c:/temp.

If you are using 4.3.2, I recommend upgrading to 4.4.2 ASAP as 4.3.2 is really old. If you are using 4.4.2, then make sure the session.save_path is valid and that this directory is writable (the "IUSR_{machinename}" user needs to have Read, Write and Modify access on that directory - {machinename} = the name of your computer).
