Login problems

can someone help me with a small error in my forums? if i type in the url to my site without the www prefix i get a error page http://fantasticwap.net/smf [nofollow] the error i get is

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /smf/index.php could not be found on this server.

the problem is in the url i think, as it becomes http://www.fantasticwap.net/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=some_session_id;www [nofollow]

Then theres something else i want to know about sessions in smf. if for example during a session my ip address changes from 127.0.0.1 -> 127.0.0.2 will this log me out of the forums, as theres a few members on my forums who cant keep a session for longer than 40 minutes..
