SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I tried to intall mods from package manger and get error warnings

At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

Execute Modification           install.xml                     Modification parse error

Execute Modification             -                              Modification parse error

Execute Code                    install.php

This one is from the google and spider mod, but I get about the same error no matter what mod I try to install?

What am I doing wrong? I am not good at this kind of stuff, can someone please explain to me in a very simple way how to fix this PLEASE.

I've had a use report this to me too trying to install my custom profile field mod, I will point them too this thread also.
