Search in this topic is missing !

Hello,
what I am currently really missing very much is,
when I want to search in longer threads, that are
maybe 20 pages long,  for keywords....

There is NO function to search in the current read topic !

Can this please be added in the SMF 1.1 final release ?

it's a good request, IMO...   however, functionality additions for v1.1 final are locked.
In other words, no additional functionality will be added into the 1.1 series. The only thing going on between now and the 1.1 final release will be fixing issues and making certain that everything already in 1.1 works correctly.


This would be a request for 2.0

Why has nobody thought of this before yet ?
It is a standard feature in all the other forums I know...

It's already in RC2, just search using the search box while in a topic, or you could try my search topic mod (click link in my sig) to make it more vissible.
