The main Changes are done in the BoardIndex and DisplayTemplate Files and there is a complete change in the both of them.

In the Display Template the Posters Link like PM,YIM have been shifted to the right.

New button Sets green in colour have been created for this theme .

The main feature of this theme is that it uses the New Electron Themer.
Electron Themer can be used to make themes Based on Electron Theme in minutes if not seconds.(Except the button images.)
I created it out of popular demand as people were asking for this type of base.

To know more on the Electron Themer  Please visit the following link and post:
http://www.anelectron.com/forum/index.php?board=50.0

We will be posting about the Electron Themer and how to use it soon.

The Banner is Flash and will be Automatically Resized by the Electron Themer.

Also for copyright link removal please post your request in the above link .

I created this theme and the previous one to have more friends . So please come join me in making more such themes for friends.

I have tried to make it look professional.
Pls Give your comments and suggestions its just that for I ask.
We want to redefine theming!

Looks nice, but the catbg background repeats itself on my resolution (1280x1024).
Also I recomend you remove the default upshrink image and the 2 brown separators to help make it look better.

rongup

Ok i will do that.

Thanks for the suggestion.

hunter73

looks very nice ( better than electron ) anyways. You still made the same mistake on the parsing of

display.template.php

on line 578 u put ,' instead of just '

rongup

Ya it was based on the Electron Theme so the same.
But it wouldnt matter as it does not cause an error.

crazystu

well any update on the things I pointed out before?
Not hard to change at all.
I must say the colours of this theme have grown on me. I like the blue and green they go together well.

BTW, is your next theme going to be called Proton? lol

rongup

You guessed it right.
I can make that theme in Minutes due to my themer.

But presently i am working on something on Buttons.

sss2006

I know this thread is somewhat old, but I installed this theme on my SMF 1.0.7 board and in the footer it doesn't display the total topics, total posts, total members and latest members data. It's just blank after each of those text. :( How do I fix this problem?

rongup

It is working in 1.0.7 as i have tested it on my test board.
Could you give a link.
Also are u using a bridge or mod or something ?

Here's the link: hxxp:sss2006.ss.funpic.org/smf/index.php [nonactive] (you'll have to register to see the skin, I haven't set it to default yet) And this is the original build of 1.0.7 with no mods or anything.

sss2006

Also, when I try to view the memberlist with this skin I get this error:

2: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
File: /usr/export/www/hosting/sss2006/smf/Themes/Neutron/Memberlist.template.php (eval?)
Line: 54

rongup

Ya for that please delete Memberlist.template.php from the Neutron Theme Folder

sss2006

Thanks, that took care of that problem. :)

BTW, Here's a screenshot of the missing data error so that you maybe can look into it:

When viewing the board the images xx.gif do not display anywhere on the forum even though the image is installed, any idea where i can fix this?

BFTUK

I'm getting the missing data error too! any news?

BFTUK

Missing stats could be caused by.............

// Version: 1.1 RC2; Stats

in the stats.template.php?

www.buyingfirsttime.co.uk

BFTUK

I've got the stats working now  8)

I simply removed (renamed actually) the boardindex.template.php file.

Can't see any bugs caused by doing that yet. Still trying to fix the xx.gif image problem though.

BFTUK

Found a few minor style bugs, i'm just comparing the amended file to the original default skin file to correct these errors.

Yea...did that on my install as well and I am still having issues here. My Member list works now...but Nobody can register on the forum.

Instead I get this when a user clicks the register link;

Quote
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare template_edit_agreement() (previously declared in /home/blacyorg/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php(1040) : eval()'d code:346) in /home/blacyorg/public_html/forum/Sources/Load.php(1040) : eval()'d code on line 457[/quote}

So What gives here guys?

MONITOR

I renamed the BoardIndex.template, php file to boardindex.template.php and my stats work, and users can fill out registration, however they cannot go past the user agreement submission because it states they do not have permission for that area...

So...what's up with that then?

Also, users cannot select Avatars from the server.

Alrighty rongup...

You have been on this forum the past few days, and in fact you were just on Yesterday at 08:49:19 PM
according to your profile information.

The biggest issue I have with this SMF software, and the community is its lack of support for the people using it. This is not the only theme, or issue SMF software users are having problems with, so this certainly is not an isolated incident.

I am getting thoroughly sick and tired of dinking around with an unsupportive forum software and themes put out buy the members of the SMF community. If you people are going to make themes for the SMF software users, then you better damn well offer some support when people need it. If you can't do that at the very least then quit making themes/mods for SMF software users.

If you choose to ignore my issues, or even offer the slightest amount of help I will go else where with my forum needs, including other purchased software (which I don't wish to do), however the lack of support in this software community is getting down right rediculous and leading me to do just that once again.

rongup

I am sorry for that.
Well this is quite strange a problem that you are reporting.

No one has complained with registration problems.

What version of SMF are you using ?
If 1.0.8 i have not complied with it yet.
1.1 RC2 & RC3 work great.

I recommend to upgrade to them or tell me the SMF version and give a link.

I am using version 1.0.7 right now. I would like to upgrade to the 1.1 RC2, but I don't really understand that process and each time I inquire for help with it, I seem to be ignored almost.

Well I figured out my issue with the registration. Something with the hiding email from public option when checked it wouldn't allow a person to continue with registration.

As long as the user leaves that checkbox unmarked they can complete the registration, with it checked it gives the "not allowed access" error.

Zenigata

Please update it for 1.1.

Thanks.

rongup

The problem is i am having one of the most important exams of my life and my career in the future depends on it.
I hardly get any time to use the PC.
My exams will take me anther 1 and half months.
Due to this the new release for SMF 1.1.1 is left half incompleted.

I am sorry but i cant do much before my exams.
