disallow personal messages

I was just wondering how to turn PM's off all together for a member group?

I know in Edit Group there is this but you can't use 0 for no messages

Max personal messages: (0 = unlimited)

and in Modify Group permission

there is this

Personal Messaging
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Read personal messages Deny
Send personal messages Deny

But I can still send PM's to this group and since they can't read them are they piling up?

how can I make it so they can't get them and the sender get's a message saying they can't send to that member?

Well, you can set max personal messages to 1... then they won't build up.

can there be a Modify Group permission setting for: receive personal messages [Deny/Allow]
