I am a person who likes to know is constantly going on with my forum and if weird things arise I'd like to be able to look at logs.  I have noticed that SMF provides very limited tracking.  What I'd like to see is the ability to see when users log in, how long they were there, how many posts they made during that time, what they were visiting, ect, ect.  I'd like to be able to click on the users name and not only see the last time they logged in, but be able to click some where and see every IP they have ever used (not just to post but to login, exactly when they were on the forum ect) and maybe a way for these logs to be compiled so that through the admin panel, you can track such things by days as opposed to users, so that you can go in and view say, April 25, 2006(I am giving a past date and release that these logs would begin to take effect the day they are installed) and see exactly what IPs visited the forum, who posted, how long people were on, ect, ect.  The more detail the better.  I have alot of problems with information theft and if I'd be able to go in and compare when Items were posted on another forum, to about the times people were looking at that particular Item on my forum, I could begin to figure who is responsible and what all the IPs they are using, in case they have 2 or three (work, home, aol, ect) so that I could take the necessary actions.  Thanks for reading and hope this is possible.  I am sure this could be put to some very good use by many.

I don't see this becoming a feature of SMF. There a very few people who need very detailed logging. This would be better as a mod request IMO
