Email Client Configuration at New Host [mass email not working]

SMF Version: SMF 1.1 RC2
I just upgraded to 1.1RC2 today during the move to my new server.  Now unfortunately the email client is not working for mass emails.  I have copied over the same information and setup the same account names at the new host but still not right...

Do I need to contact the new host for a different port to add in the settings or anyone have any idea what I may be missing?

its possible the server isn't set up the same way. try using SMTP instead of the php default to send out the emails.

AHA!  You're absolutely right.  Actually I was setup for SMTP but PHP is working since I switched it.
